  • To familiarize the students with the fundamental properties of concrete.
  • To enable students to design various structural concrete members of a structure manually and using software.

CLO: 2. to design simple RC structural members under different conditions (i.e. loadings, boundary etc) by manual calculations.
CLO: 3. to seek clarification and justify (i) prepared structural system of simple RC buildings and (ii) manual gravity designs of simple RC members.
CLO: 4. to develop finite element model of simple RC structure under gravity loadings and its structural detailing using computer programs (e.g. ETABS/SAFE/AUTOCAD).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
