The necessary initial handling procedure of animals (rabbit, mice, rats) is briefly demonstrated. Blood sampling techniques will also discussed under this course. In-vitro studies regarding time dependent dissolution is also included in this course. Plasma level-time curve (Determination of Pharmacokinetic parameters). Determination of plasma protein binding. Urinary sampling techniques in laboratory animals. Renal excretion of drugs or drug disposition in animals and humans.
