Physical pharmacy integrates basic knowledge of mathematics, physics and chemistry. The course aims at introducing important pharmacy-related physical principles in areas such as states of matter, phase equilibrium and phase rule, solutions, adsorption, solubility, buffers and isotonic solutions and dispersions. It also focuses on the theories behind the phenomena needed for dosage form design .The course also presents basic understanding of types of disperse systems and methods of their preparation and assessment.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO)” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]CLO: 1. CLO: 3. To analyze given data, graphs and calculations using basic principles of physical pharmacy.
